Ingredients: Mount Gay Eclipse rum, Malibu rum, mango puree, mango juice, lemon wedge & golden cane sugar (for rim)
Served at Harold's Bar on the stunning Sandpiper's beachfront terrace, the Golden Jubilee cocktail is the perfect way to cool down on a hot day under the Bajan sun. Mixologists start by filling a cocktail shaker with ice before combining the two varieties of Caribbean rum with mango puree and mango juice. Ingredients: Mount Gay Rum, Velvet Falemum, 3 dashes of Agostura bitters, ice & lime wedge (to garnish)
This is more of a traditional Barbados cocktail which is served at various establishments across the island. Aged Barbados rum such as Mount Gay is paired with Velvet Falernum, a rum based liqueur infused with lime, almond, clove and sugarcane. Add 3 dashes of Angostura bitters, ice and a lime wedge to create a Barbados cocktail which is a favourite with the locals.
